I love a good moto jacket. Although it doesn’t ever really get that cold in the Phoenix area, moto jackets are perfect for our warm-all-year weather, especially because I still wear sleeveless shirts for most of the year here in the desert.
I’ve been testing out Rent the Runway Unlimited for the month of December. I figured I would need holiday party dresses, so why not? What I was surprised to find out is that I’ve been more excited about the everyday-wear pieces I’ve been able to borrow with this subscription, like this Derek Lam top that retails for $995 and VETA moto jacket that retails for $990! It’s a great way to mix up my wardrobe, rock high-quality designer items and alleviate just a little waste in the fashion industry.
Plus, I like the way the subscription runs. Unlike other monthly subscription boxes, you get to personally select all your items. As someone who loves styling my own looks, this really appealed to me when I was exploring fashion subscription services. The monthly fee is a flat $139 (although you can use this link for $30 off your first month), and you can keep items for as long as you want. You get three pieces at a time, and you can return one, two or three at a time, exchanging what you return. For example, I kept the moto jacket for a couple weeks but swapped out various tops and dresses in the meantime. It also helps with the flow of the subscription — you don’t have to wait until you’re done with all three pieces to get new ones.
Overall, I’m feeling pretty happy in my first month with Rent the Runway Unlimited. Have you tried this monthly clothing subscription service?
