Since moving into our new house a few months ago, I’ve spent most of my free time designing and decorating, going room by room to create the perfect space. I’m not ready for any full room reveals yet (although you can see some sneak peaks on Instagram), but I am ready to share details about Comfortex — the amazing window treatment provider I collaborated with for the floor-to-ceiling drapes in my home office.
Comfortex is awesome because they create truly custom window treatments through their Color Lux brand — both drapery and shades — with almost unlimited options. I’m not much of a shade girl, but I am a hang-double-layer-curtains-at-ceiling-height girl, and I found it really tough to find curtains long enough for our 10′ ceilings. Luckily, Comfortex made that possible in one of my favorite rooms in the house!
With Comfortex, the process is half the fun, and it starts with their Color Lux Window Solutions tool.
The tool is great because it enables you to visualize the literally thousands of options Comfortex has. You can even virtually paint the walls of the room to match yours at home. And it’s not just for drapery; you can visualize shades too!
Once I narrowed down my favorite patterns, I added them all to my “favorites” in the app and ordered some swatches. This part of the process was critical for me because it enabled me to narrow down my top 10-ish patterns to the one I selected. You can order your own free swatch kit too!
The swatch package also came with a color wheel to aid in selecting the perfect color to go with the perfect pattern. Did I mention that a bunch of their patterns are “Recolorables,” meaning you can order them in any color in the wheel?!
While the decision was a tough one, I opted to go with their “Alligator” pattern in Admiral Blue and Ultra White, in the Linen finish. I also got to select the color of the grommets and curtain rod (brass, obvi).
I knew the product would be high-end, but I was beyond impressed when it arrived. The fabric is high-quality, and even the packaging was done in such a way that the curtains didn’t wrinkle. The curtain rod is custom-cut, meaning no seam and thus no drooping (even without a middle bracket installed!) Seriously, talk about exceeding my expectations.
Amazing, am I right?! I’m beyond thrilled with how the curtains came out. Between the process and the product, I’ve become a serious fan of Comfortex. Be sure to visit the Comfortex site to find a dealer near you, and order your free swatch kit today!
Disclosure: I was offered free curtains in exchange for my honest review.
